Families Join Graduation Celebration

It was wonderful to celebrate the success of our Year 12 Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) and Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) students who graduated from Haileybury Rendall School at the special Graduation Assembly in our Dumabudla Centre on Thursday, 21 October.

The occasion was shared with parents and guardians who witnessed each member of the Class of 2021 receive their graduation certificate. We also live-streamed the Graduation and many families from remote communities and others from across the country enjoyed this.

Many of these students began their VCE examinations on Wednesday, 27 October and we wish them the very best.

We look forward to meeting again for the Year 12 Valedictory Dinner on Thursday, 18 November.

NAPLAN Results Show Learning Growth

The 2021 NAPLAN results for Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 were sent to schools this week by the Northern Territory Government and they have been sent on to our families.

We were thrilled that our results showed strong learning growth across all indicators at all year levels. The strong improvement at all year levels is a tremendous endorsement of our dedicated and talented staff and the great work ethic of our students.

General Knowledge and Generous Bidding

The Dumabudla Centre was bustling with about 80 parents, friends and staff for our very first Parent Trivia and Auction Evening on Friday, 15 October. Interesting knowledge was shared and there was some generous bidding on a range of auction items. Our highly entertaining quizmaster was a great addition to the evening and doubled as our auctioneer.

The aim of the night was to raise funds to resurface our popular but well-worn covered gymnasium court. This goal was greatly assisted by an anonymous family who offered to donate the entire work. The rest of the night raised funds which will be used to buy new sport gear for students to use on the new court.
