Ben Bishop
Director of People and Culture Bachelor of Education & Bachelor of Applied Sports Science (Human Movement)
Ben Bishop joined Haileybury Rendall School in 2023, leading the recruitment and retention of talented and passionate staff, and supporting them to take advantage of leadership opportunities and career advancement pathways.
As Director of People and Culture at HRS, Ben is also responsible for leading effective staff wellbeing initiatives across the School, recognising the important link between wellbeing, engagement and performance.
Ben brings extensive teaching expertise and experience to HRS, having taught VCE for 12 years at Kilvington Grammar School and for a further five years at Norwood Secondary College in Melbourne.
Coming from a family of teachers, Ben was inspired early on to follow in their footsteps. His own schooling experiences in Melbourne also played an important role in his career choice, with a number of teachers at his primary and high schools having a positive influence on him and encouraging him to become an educator.
