Head of Indigenous Wellbeing


Emily Fryer joined Haileybury Rendall in 2021 when she was appointed as Head of Indigenous Student Wellbeing.

Prior to teaching at Haileybury, she was Head of Wellbeing and Performing Arts and on the leadership team at the Australian International School Phnom Penh, Emily taught primary and secondary students in the Kimberley for many years focusing on creative arts and student wellbeing.

With a deep commitment to equity and inclusion, Emily is an advocate for bridging the gap in educational outcomes for First Nations Students. Placing student wellbeing at the core of every initiative, she works to create learning environments that are safe, supportive, and culturally responsive.

Passionate about preparing students for life beyond school, Emily focuses on equipping young people with the skills, confidence and resilience they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.
