Emily Fryer

Emily Fryer joined Haileybury Rendall School in 2021 as Head of Indigenous Student Wellbeing.

Before arriving at HRS, Emily was Head of Wellbeing and Performing Arts at the Australian International School in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She was also part of the school’s Leadership Team. She spent three years working overseas before returning to Australia.

Emily also spent 15 years teaching primary and secondary students in the Kimberley, where she focused on the Creative Arts education and enhancing student wellbeing.

With a deep commitment to equity and inclusion, Emily is an advocate for bridging the gap in educational outcomes for First Nations students. She places student wellbeing at the core of her work and is committed to creating learning environments that are safe, supportive and culturally responsive.

With a deep commitment to preparing HRS students for life beyond school, Emily is focused on equipping young people with the skills, confidence and resilience they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Outside of school, Emily enjoys travelling, spending time with family and the arts.
