Year 10 Scholarships
Haileybury Rendall School is excited to announce scholarships for new students entering Year 10 in 2026.
Within a supportive and inspiring community, Senior School at Haileybury Rendall School provides the perfect balance of academic excellence, global experiences and co-curricular opportunities.
- Students complete the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) with pathways to university or applied learning.
- Be part of clubs, sport, leadership, music and the acclaimed School Musical.
- Access once-in-a-lifetime opportunities including a Scholarship Exchange to Melbourne, overseas trips, Tiwi Cultural Immersion and much more.
Typically, scholarships are awarded in tuition fees for the duration of the student’s time at the school, based on performance and involvement in school life and extra-curricular activity.
All scholarships are awarded at the Principal’s discretion.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the General Excellence Scholarship, applicants must be:
- A new student to Haileybury Rendall School entering Year 10 in 2026
- An Australian citizen, a permanent resident or a temporary resident.
Selection Process
Applicants will need to provide evidence of academic performance via:
- The two most recent school reports
- Year 9 NAPLAN report.
- Outline in writing their passion and involvement in their relevant commitment to their community, for example sport, dance, culture etc. (no more than 500 words)
- Provide the name and contact details of a referee from their current school i.e. Teacher, Deputy Principal or Principal.
Selection timeline
- Applications close Sunday, 19 October 2025.
- A shortlist of applicants will be determined. All unsuccessful applicants will be notified.
- Interviews conducted.
- All applicants informed of the outcome by Saturday, 8 November 2025.
