Maria Cicchiello

Maria Cicchiello joined Haileybury Rendall School in 2019 when she was appointed Deputy Head of Middle School. In her current role as Director of Operations, she brings passion and a raft of organisational skills including operational coordination and timetable organisation.
Maria joined HRS because of the School’s strong sense of community and the strong explicit teaching model provided to all students.
During her career in education, Maria has predominately taught Middle School Mathematics and Physical Education. She previously held pastoral care and curriculum leadership roles and was Year Level Coordinator and Head of Mathematics.
Maria became a teacher because she enjoys Mathematics and loves changing students’ minds about ‘Maths being boring.’
Maria has three children at HRS.
In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and wrapping yummy yiros at Mindil Markets.
