Wendy was appointed Deputy Principal – Wellbeing at Haileybury Rendall School in 2024. She has been at the School since 2020 when she initially joined HRS as Head of Senior School.
Wendy decided to move to Darwin and to become part of the HRS community because she was drawn to the exciting challenges of helping to establish and build the School’s position as a centre of excellence for Territorian students.
Previously, she was Head of Senior School and the VCE Coordinator at Highview College in Maryborough, Victoria. During her time at the school, Wendy also held roles as Acting Deputy Principal – Pastoral Care and Head of English.
Wendy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to HRS and to the classroom. She believes that a strong wellbeing focus is essential to ensure every student at HRS feels valued and that they belong to the school community, allowing them to grow and thrive as learners and citizens.
For Wendy, wellbeing at school is centred on positive and respectful relationships between staff, students and families through open and honest communication.
