Exciting activities in Boarding
We close out Term 2 by looking back at all the new and ongoing activities we have been offering at Boarding, and we always look forward to what else we can achieve. It is with great thanks to Caitlyn Morrissey from the main school, Elizabeth Roy, our administration support (and part-time activities support) and new staff member Tineale Browne, who are making a positive difference in supporting the activities space. In the last few weeks, there have been extra art programs, the fishing activity is underway, and additional after-school sports and pool access have all been achieved. Thanks to Natasha and Amelia, a fun tie-dye event was also created. Additionally, we brought in an ice cream truck on the recent Student-Free Day to provide the students (and staff) with a well-deserved treat.
We know that keeping our young people engaged and active makes a difference in their wellbeing, and I look forward to welcoming our new Activities Coordinator, Tahlia Bray, at the start of Term 3 to take over this important space for our Boarders. I hope all families, guardians, and Boarders have a safe and happy break. I thank my staff and boarders for making this term a great one.
