Exciting activities and health initiatives this term!
What an incredible term it’s been for the Haileybury Rendall School's Clontarf Academy! Our students have shown tremendous dedication, spirit, and pride across a range of activities, making this term one to remember.
One of the standout moments was the Territory Cup Carnival held in Jabiru. Our team played with passion and skill, finishing just behind Yirrara College in second place. The effort and teamwork displayed on the field were impressive, and our boys made us all proud with their sportsmanship and determination.
During Reconciliation Week, our students represented the Academy, their families, and their culture with pride. The week was a powerful reminder of the strength of community and the importance of respect and understanding.
The term wrapped up with a thrilling Staff vs Students football game, which not only showcased competitive spirit but also a lot of fun! While the students managed to score some memorable goals, a few staff members walked away with some hefty bumps and bruises—testament to the fun and passion on both sides.
On the health front, we welcomed DDHS to conduct health checks for 10 more students, ensuring everyone’s wellbeing is supported as part of our ongoing commitment to holistic care.
Looking ahead, our students continue to impress with their efforts in VET courses and work experience placements lined up for Term 3. These opportunities are invaluable in building skills for the future, and we’re proud of their enthusiasm and hard work.
A huge thank you to everyone—students, staff, families, and community partners—for being part of the Clontarf Academy. Your support and involvement make everything we do possible. Let’s keep this momentum going into next term!
