Welcome back to Term 3!
The term has certainly started with plenty of energy and excitement, and it has been wonderful to see our students settle back into school so seamlessly.
House activities are well underway, and students have already chosen their songs for the much-loved House Singing competition at the end of the term. Many students also took part in the Twilight Concert, and it was delightful to see their musical talents on display.
Last week, students participated in a Maths competition, and we currently have two groups of Year 6 students preparing for the Tournament of Minds competition, which is coming up in just two weeks. They have been working hard, practising and preparing for what will be a wonderful opportunity to challenge themselves and work collaboratively.
Our students have also been busy participating in various sporting events and gala days. We were particularly excited to see our first-ever Junior School AFL team take part in a gala day. They did an amazing job and represented the Junior School with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
We also have some very exciting opportunities ahead, with a group of students meeting the Australian Men’s Test Cricket Team early next week.
It is fantastic to see students continuing to get involved in all aspects of school life. I am very proud of the enthusiasm, effort and commitment they continue to show.
