In Week 4, HRS Stars Year 12 students attended the Year 12 Induction hosted at NTIBN. This was a great opportunity for the girls to learn about what their future could look like and how Stars can support them throughout their final year of school and beyond, particularly when transitioning into employment. We finished the day together with lunch at Silks Darwin.
In Week 5, we welcomed our Year 7 girls to the Stars Program at the Year 7 Stars Induction. It was a great opportunity to introduce them to the program, share our values, and talk about what it means to be a Stars member. We joined other Darwin programs at NTIBN for a workshop on the Stars Foundation values, helping the girls learn what Stars is all about. We then finished the day together with lunch and bowling at Kingpin Darwin.
Coming Up:
Stars have two exciting excursions to finish off Term 1! Selected students will attend the Stars Basketball Carnival in Week 9 on Thursday 26 March. In Week 10, on Monday 30 March, we will celebrate the end of term with an excursion to Event Cinemas at Gateway Shopping Centre.
