Speech Night 2018

Our Inaugural Speech night was held on Monday, 10 December, which celebrated our first year as Haileybury Rendall School.

We thank the students, families and friends of Years 5 to 12 for attending the evening. During the evening, many students were recognised with prizes for their academic results, social justice contributions, commitment to The Arts and leadership in the Boarding House.

The Dux (highest academic achievement) and Dux Proximus (second highest achiever) were announced for the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools. It was wonderful to have member of the School Board Mr Mark Spain present the Junior School prizes, The Administrator, The Honourable Vicki O’Halloran AM present the Middle school prizes and The Minister for Education the Honourable Selena Uibo present the Senior School prizes.

Along with speeches from the Principal Mr Craig Glass, Chairman of the Board Mr Tom Poulton and the School Captains Jacinta Hicks and Kudzai Mapendere, the evening also included a numberof impressive music performances and our boarders performed a Bangarra Dance.
