Haileybury Rendall School recently hosted its first Orientation Day!
All current and new students who will be in Transition to Year 7 in 2018 were involved in a whole day program. It was wonderful to see the excitement on the children’s faces as they made new friends. The students were involved in a variety of activities to familiarise themselves with their new school.
The Junior School children attended an assembly to conclude the day along with many interested parents. At this assembly Princiapl, Craig Glass outlined two goals for the school: High expectations and creating a strong community.
In the afternoon, the new Years 8 to 11 students participated in their Orientation. These new students and their families toured the school, meeting some teachers, finishing with a question and answer session with Mr Glass. All in all it was a most successful day and an exciting start to what is to come.
